The name FredlArts
Well the name was originally born by a good old friend of mine. At that time, more or less over 15 years ago, we both were huge Star Wars fans and crazy about all the Lucas Arts games that were popular at this time.
My friend also experimented with writing an own game that time and he was playing around with logos. When I visited him once he was showing me the Lucas Arts logo and he had replaced “Lucas” with “Fredl” which is a short austrian name for “Fritz” or “Friedrich”, which is my first name. Fredl Arts was born.
Logo looked good and he always called me that anyway and so the story started. We began to play around with our own servers in the Internet, at this time connected with dial-up modems, and some time I decided to register a domain for myself. Well what should I say, here I am 
Fredl Arts became FredlArts and of course because of trademarks, copyrights whatsoever, I couldn’t use the logo for anything, but I didn’t care as my own name was born. Maybe in the future I might even register it as a company or trademark myself, who knows
